Cockatoo Island is west of the Harbour Bridge, between Hunters Hill, Drummoyne and Balmain. It is about 7 minutes from the Bridge, with no speed restrictions between the Bridge and Cockatoo Island.
Cockatoo Island Marine Centre is on the South (Balmain) side of the Island, directly opposite the Dawn Fraser pool. Approach the island from the south, you will see a number of large cranes. Entry to Camber Wharf visitor marina is signposted.
